That’s why there is no mortgage calculator on my site.
I feel the numbers returned from these ‘Maximum Loan Amount’ tools are often too simplistic. They commonly ignore the wider financial situation and your commitments and give a false impression of what might be possible.
We’ll commit time to a proper conversation and we will arrive at robust figures that fit your circumstances.
HOW WE DO IT
The mains steps during the journey for a home purchase are…
- Fact-Find/Data collection
- Affordability assessment which leads to borrowing capacity/purchase price
- Depending on circumstances we may arrange a decision in principle
- Then your part is finding a suitable property and getting an offer to buy accepted
- Fine tune loan and equity amount which informs the rates available
- Full application to relevant lender and initiate any legal processes
- Mortgage agreed and legals progressed
- Keys in hand it’s time to move!
From start to finish the timeline might vary from 3-4 weeks to several months, but we are with you all the way.
